The three main areas of a well balanced exercise plan includes cardiovascular exercise for heart health, strength training for muscle toning and bone strength, and stretching in order to increase flexibility and reduce injury. The amount of time you spend on each and the ways in which you achieve them should vary depending upon your level of experience with exercise, whether you're a beginner who's just starting an exercise program, an advanced or intermediate exerciser, or an expert exerciser.
